From Neuroception to Stories of Safety ~ Sign up for our upcoming webinar with Andrea Greer!

Yay! Our very own Andrea Greer will present at our upcoming PLN webinar for RTLB on Thursday, 27 August at 8:30 AM, exploring neuroception, responsive and reactive practice, shame responses, and opportunities for healing.

Andrea will unpack how these ideas can help us understand the ways tamariki experience safety, develop a sense of self, and make sense of their experiences through the stories of safety we help create around them.

Together, we’ll explore how behaviours can be understood as responses rather than problems, how shame can impact a child’s developing sense of self, and how moments of challenge can become opportunities for healing and connection. Most importantly, what does this mean for kaiako?

How can we create environments, relationships and everyday interactions that help tamariki develop a stronger sense of self, experience safety, and build new stories of safety?
