Our 2026 Teaching Standards:

"Standard 5: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning

environments.

Focus area 5.4 Use equipment and technologies appropriately and effectively to support learning. Have strategies in place for any equipment

and technologies utilised, including digital devices and artificial intelligence, to be used safely, responsibly, ethically, and in ways that

contribute positively to teaching and learning."

With this focus area added to our Professional Standards, it is important that we support teachers in building their's and their students' AI Literacy. Here's a useful resource that can be part of the literacy series. Some of the activities do not require any AI technology to use.
