NGĀ POUWHIRINAKI O AOTEAROA

Currently, our rōpu is undergoing internal structural changes. In essence, we are composed of distinct functions and roles. Collectively, we form Ngā Pouwhirinakitanga o Aotearoa (NPoA).

Māngai/Kāhui Māngai - are an elected group or duo who articulate and advocate the kaupapa of NPoA with other groups or organizations that may include CM's, Agencies, Ministries, National Bodies and any other groups that connect with or to our kaupapa. Additionally, Kāhui Māngai provide the overall direction for the rōpu guided by Rohe Representatives.

Rohe Representatives - are nominated by Pouwhirinaki members from their region or Cluster. Where Pouwhirinaki numbers are few, Pouwhirinaki may choose to represent their RTLB Cluster respectively. Rohe Representatives work to deliver our collective aspirations to best support positive educational outcomes for mokopuna, whānau, kura, iwi, hapu & hapori.

We formally acknowledge our Kāhui Pakeke, whose guidance ensures we uphold the tikanga, mana, and mauri of Ngā Pouwhirinakitanga.

Ngā Ohu - Building on this foundation, the formation of Ohu is underway, with the aim of harnessing the specialized skillsets of Pouwhirinaki to further advance our collective goals to enhance engagement, promote innovation and creativity, foster across-cluster relationships, and strengthen the internal cohesion within Ngā Pouwhirinakitanga.
